Culture

North Shore Community Health is a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving the North Shore community and dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible and culturally responsive health care services.

We have three full-time family practice sites, two school-based health and behavioral health centers, and behavioral health only sites in four Salem schools. Each site delivers high quality, culturally competent, comprehensive primary care – medical, dental and behavioral health services. We also offer supportive services, such as health education, translation, health insurance eligibility and enrollment assistance, and transportation, that promote access to health care.

Job Types

Physician

A family practice physician provides comprehensive, lifelong healthcare for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. They serve as the primary point of contact in the medical system, balancing daily preventative care with the treatment of everyday illnesses and chronic conditions.

Physician Assistant

A Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed medical professional who practices medicine with a supervising physician. They perform many of the same duties as doctors—such as examining patients, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medication, and assisting in surgery.
