Dr. Yenilda García Filpo is a foreign-trained Dentist that joined the North Shore Community Health Center more than two (2) years ago. She is currently working in Gloucester Community Center following her belief in giving back to the community. Her mission is to provide comprehensive dental services to patients of all ages in an environment that is safe, reassuringly pleasant and comfortable. 

Dr. García Filpo graduated in 2008, obtaining her Doctorate Degree in Stomatology from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. After Dr. García graduation, she worked as a professor for three (3) years providing dental services in various communities with dental students. At the same time, she owned a private dental practice in the Dominican Republic in which she provided care to patients of all ages.  Dr. García then moved to the United States and held a staff position in the dental field. In 2016 she was granted a Limited Dental License through the Mass Dental Board allowing her to practice in public health facilities.  

In addition to her formal schooling, Dr. García pursues continuing education. She feels that it is important to keep current with evolving techniques and materials to provide the best best of dental care options for her patients.  She is an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and American Dental Association.
